Jill de Villiers and Nick de Villiers are proud to be officially unveiled as Advocates for England Golf representing the governing body for Amateur golf in England, set up in 1924.

Jill and Nick have both played golf since they were nine and eleven, winning many amateur trophies and representing schools and county golf teams. Jill was recognised as the “Most improved golfer in England at the age of 13 by England Golf” with Nick winning national four round amateur events in New Zealand and still plays to a handicap of 2. Nick and Jill play at many beautiful golf courses and have won many amateur events whilst working with the very best brands and companies, based out of London.

Throughout their careers they have been role models for developing the game of golf for both men and women. In 2009 they created a family golfing and lifestyle brand JdV Sport for all golfing requirements such as events, equipment, travel, apparel, brand activation through golf, socialising and networking. Since 2009 through their activities, they have encouraged many women, men and juniors to play and enjoy golf.

“Sharing the same values and guiding principles in how we promote golf, I am proud and excited to be working more closely with Jill & Nick” Jeremy Tomlinson, England Golf Chief Executive Officer.

Established 100 years ago the national governing body are dedicated to growing the game of golf, with their work benefitting 1,750 affiliated golf clubs and 722,000 members. The team here at JdV Sport will be working with England Golf to create unique golfing experiences with the first being a Golf in the Country event at Woodhall Spa golf club and a Christmas Golf in the City event all in collaboration with England Golf.
